Primordial Breathwork Practice & Meditation

This is a multidimensional experience, encompassing many facets of our being. It is very helpful for the reactivation of our energetic chakra vortexes to their natural, higher vibrational frequencies. The practice also aids in the location and elimination of psychosomatic sources of disease, tensions, inhibitions and repressed emotions. It employs an ancient, healing breath, activating and purifying our emotional memory at the cellular level.

This practice is rooted in an indigenous and shamanic Amazonian perspective. Its distinct benefits are the synchronization of the breath with awarenesssound and cyclical rhythm, which ultimately reveals the pulse of life force in nature as an infinitely diverse and unified consciousness.

We will provide raw cacao or drinking chocolate. Cacao is a powerful plant medicine that can increase blood supply to the brain, help to facilitate deeper energetic and emotional release, and increase connection to energy flow and heart space. In this way the cacao supports us in deepening the journey with the breathwork. It is best not to eat 2 hours before, a smoothie or juice is fine.

There is no fee for this practice. Please consider a donation to our Karma Yoga (selfless service) Program. The funds raised are used to prepare a meal for those at the recently built Willamette Center Shelter in our neighborhood.

Learn the larger group of postures that the 26&2 derived from, the Classic 84. Enjoy this opportunity to learn the Classic 84 in a supportive and fun environment!

It has been such an honor to gather and build our sacred sound healing space for this whole year. 2018 has been a challenging and powerful time of transformation and learning for many of us. I know that our gatherings, the power of meditation and the vibrations of sound healing have helped to hold space for each of us in our own unique way. I am excited to seal this year with blessed company for all those who can join.

One of the pieces of our final gathering for the year will be to lay to rest all that we do not wish carry into the New Year. We will also honor anyone who has passed this year and invite peace into our hearts and souls with their passing. If you have a loved one who has transitioned this year and want to bring a picture of them, I welcome you to add this to our altar for he evening’s meditation.

Please join Kavita Kat Macmillan, kirtan musician and yoga teacher as she welcomes other local devotional musicians to lead an evening of shared intentions, mantra and voices raised together.

    • A short walk everyday

    • Sitting quietly and meditating for 5 min per day

    • Journal for 10 min

    • Write down your dreams every morning

  • Must complete a minimum of 15 classes to win raffle prizes

    • 15 classes = 2 raffle tickets

    • 20 classes = 3 raffle tickets

    • 25 classes = 4 raffle tickets

It employs an ancient, healing breath, activating and purifying our emotional memory at the cellular level.

This practice is rooted in an indigenous and shamanic Amazonian perspective. Its distinct benefits are the synchronization of the breath with awarenesssound and cyclical rhythm, which ultimately reveals the pulse of life force in nature as an infinitely diverse and unified consciousness.

We will provide raw cacao or drinking chocolate. Cacao is a powerful plant medicine that can increase blood supply to the brain, help to facilitate deeper energetic and emotional release, and increase connection to energy flow and heart space. In this way the cacao supports us in deepening the journey with the breathwork. It is best not to eat 2 hours before, a smoothie or juice is fine.

There is no fee for this practice. Please consider a donation to our Karma Yoga (selfless service) Program. The funds raised are used to prepare a meal for those at the recently built Willamette Center Shelter in our neighborhood.

Wear comfortable clothing.

This is a non-heated, 90 minute event. A 30 minute preparation for the gong meditation will be in the style of kundalini yoga, which includes movement, dynamic breathing and chanting of mantras. Children 10 and above are also welcome. This class is for all levels of abilities.

The Gong is the Secret Instrument of the Yogi 

The gong is a sacred and ancient instrument of healing, rejuvenation and transformation. The Gong produces a strong sound wave, almost tangible to the touch, which stimulates the physical body by influencing the surface of the skin and every cell. Curious to learn beyond the 26&2? Ready to take your asana practice further?

Learn the larger group of postures that the 26&2 derived from, the Classic 84. Enjoy this opportunity to learn the Classic 84 in a supportive and fun environment!

This is a 2 part workshop, so you can get familiar with the asanas and learn techniques to properly prepare and execute the posture. Completion of this intro welcomes you to practice the Classic 84 with us, which we hold currently on Wednesdays at 11:30AM.  

Pre-requisites: 

  • Minimum 3 months of regular practice 2-3x/week
  • Proper demonstration of locking the knee
  • Self respect for when rest is needed
  • Stamina in the beginner's series: regular completion of the entire 26&2 series, and in the yoga room for the entire duration
  • Completion of a beginner's class the morning or afternoon on workshop days.

Fee (includes parts 1&2): $184
