The Gong is the Secret Instrument of the Yogi

The gong is a sacred and ancient instrument of healing, rejuvenation and transformation. The Gong produces a strong sound wave, almost tangible to the touch, which stimulates the physical body by influencing the surface of the skin and every cell. There is one caveat when it comes to the gong: Once you enter the gong’s healing sound orbit, you may never want to leave!

What are the advantages of the gong?

According to Akalsukh Singh, founder & executive director of AquarianYoga Center in Montclair, NJ, here are some of the major benefits:

 • Relieves neck pain, headaches, menstrual cramps, muscle pain, and improves joint flexibility and range of motion

 • Creates deep relaxation and clears the mind

 • Immediate reduction of stress and anxiety

 • Stimulates the glandular system and improves function

 • Stimulates circulation

 • Organizes emotional energy

 • Aids in breaking addictive behavior

 • Regenerates neurons and their interconnections

 • Regenerates the nervous system

 • Clears the aura

 • Opens and aligns the chakras

 • Clears the sub conscious mind from negative thought patterns

 • Strengthens the parasympathetic nervous system

 • Helps repair damage to the nervous system caused by stimulants (i.e. coffee) and stress

 • Encouraged integrated healing of body, mind, and spirit

Primordial Breathwork Practice & Meditation

Primordial Breathwork Practice & Meditation

This is a multidimensional experience, encompassing many facets of our being. It is very helpful for the reactivation of our energetic chakra vortexes to their natural, higher vibrational frequencies. The practice also aids in the location and elimination of psychosomatic sources of disease, tensions, inhibitions and repressed emotions. It employs an ancient, healing breath, activating and purifying our emotional memory at the cellular level.

This practice is rooted in an indigenous and shamanic Amazonian perspective. Its distinct benefits are the synchronization of the breath with awarenesssound and cyclical rhythm, which ultimately reveals the pulse of life force in nature as an infinitely diverse and unified consciousness.

We will provide raw cacao or drinking chocolate. Cacao is a powerful plant medicine that can increase blood supply to the brain, help to facilitate deeper energetic and emotional release, and increase connection to energy flow and heart space. In this way the cacao supports us in deepening the journey with the breathwork. It is best not to eat 2 hours before, a smoothie or juice is fine.

There is no fee for this practice. Please consider a donation to our Karma Yoga (selfless service) Program. The funds raised are used to prepare a meal for those at the recently built Willamette Center Shelter in our neighborhood.

Sat Nam !

We changed the time for the sound healing this month, inviting you to join us in celebration and honor of Mother's Day. When women gather, they heal. When women heal, they heal the world. We will chant, stretch, dance, meditate and relax deeply with the beautiful cozy gong and crystal bowl sound experience.

The meditation mantra is Adi Shakti. This mantra honors the Divine Mother as the first and primal force of creation.

Your whole family is invited

Joti Sangee - Isabel

The Manipura Chakra is a radiant center of energy that distributes life throughout the human framework. Just as the earth would not survive without the sun, we rely on our third chakra to regulate and energize the activities of our systems.

Join to explore the secret fire of the navel center with Kundalini warm up exercises and dynamic pranayama breath work. Then, experiences deep relaxation and supported self generated healing by resting into the sound vibrations of the gong, crystal bowls and other instruments. Clear away stress, balance the mind and support deep body system and open space for inner stillness.

All ages and abilities are welcome. Please bring: pillow, blanket, eye pillow, water, herbal tea, and anything that you might need to make yourself feel cozy to receive the healing.

Please Join Isabel to experience the wonderful blessings and benefits from Kundalini Yoga Sound Healing using our authentic voice, Symphonic Gong and Crystal Bowls.

We Celebrate the Spring Equinox 2018 ️️
Spring Equinox has long been celebrated by our ancestors and this special time still carries a significance today. As spring arrives, we awaken from our hibernation in winter to plant the seeds of our intentions for the year.

We will practice Secret Ancient Meditations to help facilitate detoxification and rebirth.

Also This Month we continue the journey exploring the Second Chakra or Sacral Chakra. The second chakra is called Svadhisthana which means one’s own dwelling place or sweetness.

Through this chakra we connect to the water element and the aspects of flow, change, sexuality and creation. Kundalini Yoga teaches us that this energetic center is connected to the sacrum (lower back), bladder, kidneys, and the reproductive glands and organs. We can see the themes of water and creativity through these bodily representations.

This practice it's open to all ages, we looking forward to seeing many of you!

With Love

Please bring a mug.

There is no fee for this practice. Please consider a donation to our Karma Yoga (selfless service) Program. The funds raised are used to prepare a meal for those at the recently built Willamette Center Shelter in our neighborhood.
